The Devil in Miss Jones (1972)

The Golden Age of Porn was shining brightly in 1972 when the X rated gems Deep Throat and Behind the Green Door came out. Of course, we can’t forget Gerard Damiano’s The Devil in Miss Jones starring porn chic queen Georgina Spelvin and adult film legend Harry Reems. The story centers around despondent spinster Justine Jones (Spelvin) who slits her wrists. While her spirit is in limbo, she decides to send her body back to Earth and earn her damnation with every imaginable act of lust. After one un-simulated sexual encounter after another, the naked babe finds herself trapped in a special Hell of unquenchable desire that’s Heaven for us. In other words, this is one horror movie where it’s okay to be scared stiff! The best way to measure a classic is by the number of sequels its spawned. And this skin flick boasts The Devil in Miss Jones 2 (1982) with Jacqueline Lorians; The Devil in Miss Jones 3: A New Beginning (1986) and The Devil in Miss Jones 4: The Final Outrage (1986) both with Lois Ayres; The Devil in Miss Jones II: The Devil’s Agenda (1991) with Alexandra Quinn; The Devil in Miss Jones 5: The Inferno (1995) with Juli Ashton; The Devil in Miss Jones 6 (1999) with Stacy Valentine; The New Devil in Miss Jones (2005) with Jenna Jameson; and The Devil in Miss Jones: The Resurrection (2010) with Belladonna. Needless to say, horny devils like us are waiting with mastur(bated) breath for the next installment!
