Roofman (2025)

Based on a true story from 2004, this charismatic biopic stars Channing Tatum as Jeffrey Manchester, a former US Army Reserve officer who turned to breaking into fast food franchises through their roofs and robbing them when he started having financial trouble. He’e then caught and sentenced to forty-five years in a North Carolina prison, but Jeffrey uses his powerful observational skills to come up with a plan to break out of the joint and is able to hide himself away inside a Toys “R” Us, where he falls for one of the employees, single mom Leigh (Kirsten Dunst). He’s there for six months before the store manager (Peter Dinklage) catches sight of him, but the real high point is when we catch a glimpse of Juno Temple’s right nipple while she’s on on the phone. That’s a sight that will raise more than just the roof!
