The Shuroo Process (2021)

Strong, stylish, idealistic, and a total mess or a human being, Parker (Fiona Dourif), makes her living in New York City as a sometimes published journalist who mostly writes articles for magazines while her career dwindles and personal life falls apart.  Her romantic life falls apart because she ends up drunk, naked, and on the national news with someone, so she goes to a retreat to rid herself of the public eye, booze, and gentle drug problem that has been her driving force as of late.  She gets recommended The Shuroo Process, an exclusive and far away commune style intensive lifestyle changing course that is led by a charismatic guru of sorts. We know what you're thinking, charismatic guru, wooded retreat, there is no WAY this could be a cult like situation, especially when Parker begins to become madly infatuated with the leader.  Well all the other people on the retreat begin to dress alike, walk alike, sometimes they even talk alike!  Guess we are heading down the old path to cultism regardless of all the warning signs along the way, including the vivid hallucinations from the dessert beverages they all drink as a group on the very first night at camp.  Lucky for us though, the always stunning Fiona Dourif gets naked showing off her boobs in a hallucinatory sex scene on her way to self improvement, by way of potentially catastrophic life decisions at the hands of what could potentially be another cult leader gone mad on his own Kool-Aid!
