A 1970s-set action thriller with very limited dialogue, Motor City takes us to Detroit, natch, where John Miller (Alan Ritchson) has just gotten out of prison and is ready to get back to a normal life with his waitress girlfriend Sophia (Shailene Woodley). He gets a job at a factory and proposes to Sophia, but their happiness is cut short when a crooked cop named Savick (Pablo Schreiber) busts into their home and nabs John for drug trafficking. Turns out John is being framed by Reynolds (Ben Foster), a local gangster who also happens to be Sophia’s ex. John is shipped back to prison and Sophia eventually marries Reynolds, a fact John finds out when Reynolds sends him a postcard from their honeymoon. With help from his prison friends and Kent (Ben McKenzie), the seemingly one good cop on the force, John starts to devise his plan for revenge. No stranger to nudity, Shailene lets a nip slip while wearing a very period-appropriate jumpsuit, then more deliberately lets both boobs out during a prison dream sequence where Mr. Foster gets to put his mouth on her fabulous melons. If we ever got the same chance, it would be Motorboat City!
