Dalíland (2022)

Sir Ben Kingsley is a brilliant actor who was knighted, in part, because he’s so good at playing real life people on screen. Throughout his esteemed career, the Oscar winner has channeled Mahatma Gandhi in Gandhi (1982), Dmitri Shostakovich in Testimony (1988), Meyer Lansky in Bugsy (1991), Itzhak Stern in Schindler’s List (1993), Georges Méliès in Hugo (2011), Regent Horthy in Walking with the Enemy (2013), Jack L. Warner in Life (2015), Hamid Karzai in War Machine (2017), Adolf Eichmann in Operation Finale (2018), and Salvador Dalí in Dalíland (2022). Set in the 1970s, the latter biopic is seen through the eyes of James Linton (Christopher Briney), an Idaho art student who is hired to assist the legendary surrealist. Dalí (Kingsley) and his high-libidoed wife Gala (Barbara Sukowa) split their time between New York City and Spain. That is, when they’re not going to wild parties with rock-n-goth singer Alice Cooper (Mark McKenna). Other famous portrayals include musician Jeff Fenholt (Zachary Nachbar-Seckel) and model Donyale Luna (Joella Hinson-King). Speaking of models, we get to lear at Amanda Lear (Andreja Pejić) when she poses in the buff. As Dalí paints her, we can view her full frontal nudity. Needless to say, her pale peaks pique our interest! If that’s not sexy enough, Ginesta/Lucy (Suki Waterhouse) uses her naked assets to help a young Dalí (Ezra Miller) create Rorschach-like imprints by plopping her bare bum onto paint and then on the canvas. In other words, thebeautiful muse is literally a masterpiece of ass!
