Spetters (1980)

Leave it to the dourly perverse Dutchmen to create a teenage, coming of age sex romp in which the lead character becomes paralyzed below the waist, rendering him numb to the most fervent oral ministrations of his sloe-eyed, sexy girlfriend. The mannish boys of Spetters (1980) have motorcycle racing, beer and willing broads at their disposal. Their penises are such an integral part of their lives that the dudes literally dangle the appendages from their jeans and measure one another with a calibrating tool. Inspired by their hero, motocross champion Gerrit Witkamp (Rutger Hauer), a couple of young racers named Rien (Hans van Tongeren) and Hans (Maarten Spanjer) dream of fame in the future and sex in the present alongside their mechanic (Toon Agterberg). Along the way, they encounter the unexpected. Indeed, Paul Verhoeven’s camera doesn’t blink during a brutal homosexual assault. What can we say? Growing up can be hard. And audience members can be hard too — especially when watching the skin on screen with growing interest. If you don’t know what we mean, check out the chest on Maya (Marianne Boyer). Just 15 minutes into the movie, her bare breasts come out to play in a sex scene with horny Hans. Not to be upstaged, blonde babe Fientje (Renée Soutendijk) lets us peek at her naked peaks as she plays Pull the Pony with Mr. van Tongeren’s happy hog.
