De kassière (1989)

A broke teen turns to a life of crime in De kassière (1989). 17 year-old Lily (Marion van Thijn) is barely scraping by with her job at a supermarket when her boyfriend is killed by a group of skinheads. With nothing left to keep her in her small town, she escapes her abusive stepfather to try her luck in the big city. She falls into a job at a brothel but when she discovers she is carrying her murdered boyfriend’s child, she turns to small time robberies to try and support herself. It’s tough going but with the help of Arend (Thom Hoffman), another small-time crook, and a well-meaning midwife, Lily may pull through. Plush-lipped brunette Marion van Thijn plays the teenage temptress and bares her buns and boobs in a steamy shower. She later dyes her hair blond, but proves her muff is still all natural in a dark bedroom scene. It’s a hard-knockers life!
