Sister Midnight (2025)

Fresh off an arranged marriage to a person she hasn’t seen since she was eight years old, Uma (Radhika Apte) arrives in Mumbai to start her life with hubby Gopal (Ashok Pathak), except they have nothing in common and neither of them really knows what to do now as husband and wife. She doesn’t know anything about running a household while he’s off at work, and he avoids her by going out with colleagues and getting purposefully too drunk to have sex, otherwise he spends his free time watching TV and masturbating. She tries to get some cooking lessons from their grumpy next-door neighbor Sheetal (Chhaya Kadam) and even gets a job as a cleaner, but the misery of their relationship eventually starts to threaten her mental well being. We're not sure how, but even Radhika’s rack and rump can’t fix the situation. This sister needs a mister who’ll appreciate every inch of her!
