Copenhagen Does Not Exist (2023)

Sander (Jonas Holst Schmidt) is a twenty-something slacker locked in an empty luxury apartment by the wealthy Porath (Zlatko Buric) and his young son Viktor (Vilmer Trier Brøgger). The duo is trying to find out what happened to Ida (Angela Bundalovic), Prath’s daughter and Viktor’s sister, and Sander may be the key to solving her disappearance. Sander tells them the story of his and Ida’s relationship from the beginning, seeing her through the window of a bookstore and then approaching her outside a movie theater, how the two retreated inward, away from society, and the eating disorder that affected Ida both mentally and physically. The problem is that neither the men, nor the audience, know for sure if Sander is a reliable narrator, and with Ida now missing for months, their romantic love story may actually be highly suspect. We do know one thing, though. Nudity from Angela definitely DOES exist, as we see her bare breasts in the bathtub and in bed! Something is HOT-ten in the state of Denmark!
