It’s a comedic biopic of sorts about a trio of Irish hip hop artists, Móglaí Bap aka Naoise Ó Cairealláin, Mo Chara aka Liam Óg, and DJ Próvai aka JJ Ó Dochartaigh - all playing somewhat fictionalized versions of themselves as they act out their early days in West Belfast. Liam and Naoise are the drug-fueled wordsmiths who cross paths with JJ when he’s employed as a high school teacher. He becomes their producer and the young lads create a unique sound by rapping in Gaelic and breathing a new sense of youth and anarchy into the ancient language. Their rising popularity not only riles up conservatives but also brings Naoise’s father Arlo (Michael Fassbender), out of hiding. Also not hiding are the beautiful breasts of nudecomers Jessica Reynolds and Kiana Kraze, who both go topless in separate sex scenes. Here the letters IRA stand for Irish Rack Alert!
