Sharp Corner (2024)

Canadian couple Josh (Ben Foster) and Rachel (Cobie Smulders) have taken their six-year-old son Max (William Kosovic) out of the city and moved to a new house in the quiet Nova Scotia countryside. It’s a bit of a fixer upper but it’s still their dream home, until a tire comes crashing into their window after a car crash occurs right outside the house, killing the a local teen. It’s especially jarring because it’s right when we’re getting an eyeful of Colbie’s can as she rides Ben on living room floor. The two are at odds about what to do after the fall out, and then there’s a second crash. This sends Josh spiraling into obsession, not just with the details of the accidents but at the potential for more to come. His fixation effects his work and home life, so that one brief bit of nudity from Cobie is all we get, but it’s enough to tell she’s still got some dangerous curves.
