Warning (2021)

Just like the classic television series Mystery Science Theater 3000, the sci-fi film Warning (2021) is set in "the not too distant future." The film is drawing comparisons to another television series, however, that being Black Mirror, as it deals with a number of short stories all dealing with a technology run amok bent, only unlike that show, these stories are all set in the same time with the same set of rules. The film is book ended with a story involving Thomas Jane as an astronaut named David who is free floating in space following a freak electrical surge, which is the event that affects all the rest of the film's characters. The all star cast includes Alice Eve as a woman who has severed all of her earthly connections with other people to pursue a deity known as "God 2.0," Annabelle Wallis as a mortal woman who is dealing with the in-laws from hell who don't want her dating their immortal adult son (Magic Mike's Alex Pettyfer), and Rupert Everett as a cheerful sentient robot companion who is dealing with becoming obsolete and ignored by the children for who he was purchased as a gift. Of course, the story we're most interested in involves French fox Garance Marillier (Raw, Titane) as Magda, a domestic servant who cannot think for herself and who shows off her perky pair in several nude scenes in her section of the film! It may not be enough to redeem the rest of the stories, but we don't think this section of the film needs to be accompanied with a Warning!
