Megalopolis (2024)

Francis Ford Coppola’s bloated sci-fi epic focuses on Cesar Catilina (Adam Driver), an architect and urban planner of the futuristic city of New Rome who wins the Nobel Prize for developing a new type of building material called Megalon (and he has the ability to transmogrify time, natch). His plans for creating a new utopia have him facing off against the mayor of New Rome, Franklyn Cicero (Giancarlo Esposito) while also catching the eye of the mayor’s daughter, Julia (Nathalie Emmanuel), who coincidentally can also control time. Aubrey Plaza plays a sheer-dress-wearing ambitious TV reporter named Wow Platinum, who first has her own designs on Cesar but moves on to both his cousin (Shia LaBeouf) and his uncle, the world’s richest man, Hamilton Crassus III (Jon Voight). Plus singer/actress Grace Vanderwaal shows up as the not-so-virginal teen pop star Vesta Sweetwater who gets caught in a sex scandal with Cesar, while Emily Berry bares the most boobage as a curvy cadaver named Jane Doe. You gotta hand it to Coppola, the man can sure stack a cast and all these stacked ladies are sure to give you one mega-boner!
