The Start of Aubrey Plaza’s Acting Career

After being tapped by Judd Apatow to play Seth Rogen’s love interest in the film Funny People, the big screen fell in love with the dark-haired sweetie with her role in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010). She would eventually earn her first starring role in the independent comedy Safety Not Guaranteed (2012), but not before finding immense success on the boob tube as April Legate, the cynical intern on the hit NBC series Parks and Recreation.

And while horror movies are known for their nudity, Plaza only teases in a towel in the remake of Child's Play (2019). The same year, Aubrey executive-produced the animated series Little Demon starring herself and Danny Devito as Satan, opposite his real-life daughter Lucy.
