Frankenstein (2025)

Guillermo del Toro gives us his take on the Mary Shelley classic, introducing us to a Victorian Era Victor Frankenstein (Oscar Issac), whose work in reanimination is inspired by his mother’s death while giving birth to his younger brother, William (Felix Kammerer). His scientific ideas involving electricity attract the attention of Henrich Harlander (Christoph Waltz), who signs on to become his mentor and benefactor, grating Victor the ability to breath new life into The Creature (Jacob Elordi). Harlander also happens to be the uncle of Elizabeth (Mia Goth), William’s fiancée. Victor is immediately smitten with Elizabeth but she rejects him, and then to add insult to injury, seems to form a strong connection with The Creature instead. Victor’s jealousy combined with his fear about the immense power The Creature can yield causes him to try to destroy what he created, sending The Creature fleeing and Victor on the hunt after him. If you’re hunting for nudity, pay close attention to around the twenty-eight minute mark. That’s where we see Shian Denovan posing for an artsy photo wearing sheer fabric draped from her arms and nothing else. Seeing all three of Shian’s Bs will send more than a few volts through your system!
