Flag Day (2021)

Sean Penn hasn't directed very many movies, but when he does, he's usually only found behind the camera. For his first post COVID directorial effort, Flag Day (2021), however, he's both in front of the camera and behind it, also starring alongside his own daughter Dylan Penn for the very first time! Based on a true story, the elder Penn stars as John Vogel, a con man, counterfeiter, and bank robber who hasn't done anything honest in his entire life outside of loving his daughter Jennifer (Dylan Penn). As Jennifer is now on the cusp of her own adulthood and looking to make her way in the world, she must reconcile the good memories she has of her father, who seems to always be a positive and supportive influence in her life, with the crooked criminal he truly is. The film jumps back and forth through time as it chronicles the many sides of this sometimes contentious but always very loving father daughter relationship. How can Jennifer be sure that anything her father did or said was true when he was simultaneously making a living as a con man and a forger? It's a fine line, but she's going to have to walk it sooner or later. Perhaps the most exciting thing about this flick is that it features the long overdue nude debut of the gorgeous Katheryn Winnick! Playing Jennifer's mom in the flashback sequences, we catch a brief look at Katheryn's right breast when he daughter walks into the bedroom where she's asleep, and we've slowed down the moment for you with the help of Skin Vision!
