Spun (2002)

Speed kills, but it also makes for a manic flick of frenzied highs and fast-approaching, screeching lows. Spun (2002) follows a methamphetamine dabbler (Jason Schwartzman) named Ross who blasts off into the 24-hour party world of dealers, cookers and hookers. Pressed into service as an on-call delivery boy, Ross falls under the seductive spell of stripper Nikki (Brittany Murphy), a chemist’s girlfriend in underground Las Vegas. He becomes so rapt with her that he forgets he has a skinny, blonde trollop (Chloe Hunter) of his own tied up to the bed at home! It’s pretty hard to believe this since the dude spent the better part of the previous night sexing Chloe up. In other words, we get to see Ms. Hunter’s three Bs: breasts, bush and butt! The star-studded crime dramedy also features Mena Suvari, Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, China Chow, John Leguizamo, Ron Jeremy, Billy Corgan, and Deborah Harry as a lesbian! If that’s not titillating enough, Ms. Murphy shows off her fine figure as well as her flexibility. Forty minutes into the R rated movie, the bendable babe dances on stage at a strip club in nothing but an itsy bitsy teeny weeny sequined bikini and platform shoes. Mr. Skin would love to be her dance partner but that role is already taken by a chair and a pole! Suffice it to say, Brittany’s erotically-charged number is one for the books. And if you want to gaze at the late starlet in her pretty prime, just hit freeze frame!
