Working Girls (1986)

In the 1980s, there were a lot of working girls in the Big Apple. Those punching the clock from 9 to 5 are immortalized in a mainstream way by Mike Nichols in Working Girl (1988), the big budget rom-com starring Melanie Griffith and Sigourney Weaver. Yet when it comes to looking at ladies putting out when the sun goes down, check out Lizzie Borden’s indie flick Working Girls (1986). Set in a Manhattan brothel, the R-rated pic follows a day in the life of high-end hookers. One is Molly (Louise Smith), a lesbian who begins her shift by inserting a diaphragm into her fluffy muff. Later, she does a buck naked tango in the mirror with her john. It’s frontallicious! Speaking of, there’s plenty of full frontal nudity when the babe plays hospital with a customer. The doctor is in! If that’s not arousing enough, Louise peels off her bra and panties to join a threesome. Gina (Marusia Zach) also engages in group sex during her shift that showcases her fab fingers and ravishing rack! Topless Mary (Helen Nicholas) rounds out the skin. While discussing the finer points of prostitution she exposes her finer points of boobs. In the end, the gals agree that their job sucks — literally! As such, the film concludes when Molly quits for a new kind of happy ending. Talk about a climax! Not surprisingly, the low-budget movie turned a profit — proving you don’t need a lot of money, just honey, to draw in the pervs.
