Widow Clicquot (2024) tells the true story of the creation of one of the world's most famous champagne brands, Veuve Clicquot. The film follows Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin Clicquot (Haley Bennett), who is widowed when her husband and heir to the champagne fortune, François (Tom Sturridge), dies suddenly in his 20s. Determined to maintain control of the company and create a high quality product in the way her late husband did, Barbe-Nicole sets out to change the way things are done in the industry. The always sexy Haley Bennett shines in the title role, not least because of her multiple sexy scenes, including a scene where she drops her robe in front of co-star Sam Riley and we can see her left breast reflected in the mirror!
