You're so vain, Denise Katrina Matthews, better known as pulchritudinous Prince protege turned bust-out pop sensation in her own right, Vanity! You probably think this bio is about you--and you're right! Former front-woman of the sexplicitly delicious girl group Vanity 6, this nasty girl has every reason to be proud. Previously known as Vanity, as she was christened by Prince, throughout the electrifying 1980s, Vanity reigned hard as a skinternational sex symbol who was breast known for her bone inducing lyrics, nipple peaking lingerie and in-your-face ass-baring live performances. Vanity's pop superstardom prompted many smitten devotees to skinvestigate her pre-Prince, pre-MTV career, where they came upon one of the craziest, kinkiest B-movies of the decade, Tanya's Island (1980). As a castaway on a tropical island, Vanity must choose between the cruel male lover with whom she washed up and the hairy, horny, heated-up local gorilla (!) who falls in love with her! The Tanya's Island ape is actually played by make-up and special effects genius Rick Baker, who gets to be up close and personal when Vanity peels to reveal her tits, ass, and fluffy muff. We later got to enjoy Vanity nude in another pair of '80s cult sensations: the madcap espionage adventure Never Too Young to Die (1987) with John Stamos and Gene Simmons (in drag!) and the high-octane blowout Action Jackson (1988) with Carl Weathers and Sharon Stone. Lashing out against the seven deadly sins, the former Vanity has become a born-again Christian. After bowing down to his Unholy Purpleness, she'd seem to have plenty of experience on her knees.
