Some talents so big, not even youth and inexperience can hide them. Such is the story of one such actress who was born in Spain, lived in Dorset, and then found herself in Orlando, Florida, where a talent scout saw her and encouraged the family to hit the road once more and head to Hollywood. It was there that Millie Bobby Brown landed her first small screen gig as the younger version of Alice in Once Upon A Time spinoff series Once Upon A Time In Wonderland in 2013 at age 9. The next year she got a recurring role on the thriller series Intruders, and made guest appearances on popular shows like NCIS, Modern Family, and Grey’s Anatomy. Her breakthrough role came in 2016, when she was cast to play Eleven in Stranger Things, a young girl with telekinetic and psychokinetic abilities who escaped the laboratory she was raised in after a horrific attack and befriends a group of DnD-playing Indiana preteens. Her portrayal not only earned her several awards and nominations but earned her worldwide fame and a permanent place in the pop culture zeitgeist of the early 21st century. Millie would go on to appear in a handful of music videos before making the move to feature films, starring in Godzilla: King Of The Monsters and playing the titular sleuthy sibling Enola Holmes in two Netflix films. She would also produce the the latter two projects, and all of this before turning 18, so it’s no surprise to learn she is the youngest person to ever be featured in TIME magazines 100 Most Influential People list. In 2023, the beautiful brunette Brit, now spitting her time between London and Atlanta, was all grown up and both producing and starring in the fantasy adventure film Damsel. Fans got their sexiest glimpse of the marvelous Ms. Millie as a would-be princess whose royal layers start to dissipate as she tries to survive being sacrificed to a monstrous dragon.
