Vamp (1986) gets rolling when two fraternity pledges enter a sleazy bar looking for strippers to entertain their college friends. Too bad for them the clientele are biker gangs and the staff vampires, with Grace Jones as their leader. Grace was the go-to babe for bizarre sexuality in the 1980s, a decade with no shortage of such players, but even in that big pond she stands out for her androgynous attraction and commitment to weirdness that enriches everything she does, from music to movies. And best of all, she’s not shy about skin. She is in a barely there bikini for most of the movie, which is worth the price of admission right there, especially as her nipples are clearly visible beneath the sheer fabric of her skimpy top. Bodybuilder Lisa Lyon appears in tassels and thong, plus two anonymous strippers are topless, making this a vamp to remember.
