The Door in the Floor (2004)

If there’s one movie about a drunken children’s book author and artist that you must see, The Door in the Floor (2004) is it! In addition to Elle Fanning and Bijou Phillips, the film stars blonde bombshell Kim Basinger. After losing their son, Marion (Basinger) and her husband Ted (Jeff Bridges) are barely hanging on to what’s left of their marriage. When she catches her hubby’s 18-year-old assistant Eddie (Jon Foster) jerking off with a pair of her panties, Marion does what any upstanding spouse would do. She kicks the young man out of her house. Just kidding! She begins to have an affair with him. As such, we get to see Kim’s bare boobs as she and the youthful dude have sex in bed. Don’t come a knockin’ if the cradle is a rockin’! Of course, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander so Ted decides to goose his sexy neighbor Evelyn (Mimi Rogers). The artsy guy asks the hottie to pose for him so he can paint her in the buff. Luckily for us, she agrees! Suffice it to say, her big bare breasts and trimmed bush prove this naked lady is one masterpiece of ass! No wonder the motion picture received the National Board of Review Award for Excellence In Filmmaking. The Door in the Floor was also nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Screenplay but lost to Sideways (2004). Maybe if voters viewed Ms. Rogers on her side, she would have won too!
