The Blue Tower (2008)

A second-generation immigrant living in London struggles with shifting loyalties in the thriller The Blue Tower (2008). Mohan (Abhin Galeya) is part of a close-knit (you might even say overbearing) South Indian family, but he feels increasingly alienated from them, especially his wife Asha (Manjinder Virk). A clandestine relationship with Judy (Alice O’Connell), his elderly Auntie Kamla (Indira Joshi)’s nurse, provides some relief, but Mohan still longs for a new life. When the opportunity to escape presents itself in the form of a large cache of cash in Auntie Kamla's dresser, Mohan’s loyalty is put to the ultimate test.
