Asian action star Jet Li woofs it up in his role as a human guard dog in the highly unorthodox Unleashed (2005), alternately titled Danny the Dog. Locked in a dingy basement cage and allowed to see the light only when he’s participating in deadly fights, it’s no wonder that Danny (Li) is more canine than human. When the abused man-pup shakes free of his collar, he’s befriended by a blind piano tuner (Morgan Freeman) and a kindly woman (Kerry Condon), who throw him a bone. Predictably it doesn’t take Danny very long to adjust to the human world--in fact, he recognizes carnal pleasures almost immediately. Of course it helps that Danny’s first tastes of human flesh involve the trifecta of Georgina Chapman, Danielle Louise Harley, and Laurence Ashley Taboulet. The way these dames flaunt their nubile frames is enough to make any man howl at the moon.
