Patronized by cackling co-workers and coerced into caring for his ailing embittered mother, bank teller Christie Malry (Nick Moran) yearns to take control of his miserable existence. To transcend his turmoil, Christie begins applying the principles of double-entry accounting to his own life. For every annoyance and offense the clerk encounters in the world, he allows himself a crazy form of credit in his defense, from scratching the Rolls Royce of an obnoxious rich man, to blowing up his own office building in retaliation for heckling employees. When Malry’s beguiling bookkeeping spurns violence and mayhem and earns him the money (and honeys) of his dreams, he ends up doubly screwed while having to account for his debt to society.
