The Beguiled (1971)

The Beguiled (1971) is a Clint Eastwood movie, but before you think that’s shorthand to explain what you already know about the high planes drifter, when it comes to this one it’s very much not. In this truly weird war flick, Clint is Corporal John McBurney, a wounded Union soldier who is rescued and nursed back to health by an all girl's school full of Confederate soldier's daughters. But while they should turn John over to the nearest Confederate soldier and ship him off to Andersonville, with Johnny Reb away these girls want to play. As he recovers so do the girls, as in they recover their young sexuality and amorous desires for this handsome fella. Soon enough John's kissing Edwina (Elizabeth Hartney), banging Carol (Jo Ann Harris) and doing the best he can to fight off the hardcore horniness of the head of the school Martha (Geraldine Page). But when the jealousy levels hit a catastrophic point, John's getting poisoned, getting unnecessary surgery done on him, and even getting ratted out to the Rebels! You won't get blue balls from this vastly different take on the battle between the blue and the grey, since the nudity in this one is aplenty! Mae Mercer plays the school's slave woman, who gets tossed in the hay but grabs a pitchfork since she's not feeling like fornicating. But we were still pitching a tent watching, since her juggling jugs make an appearance before she makes the threat. The best nudity comes from Jo Ann Harris, who lets Clint have a nibble of her teen tatas, which are not so teeny. They were a hit with Clint's weenie! A little later and we'll get a good look at her ass amidst the action! When a young Clint Eastwood shows up to an all girl school, don't be suprised if every young lady ends up defiled just like the girls in The Beguiled!
