Friday Foster (1975)

Who doesn’t love a character named after a weekday? In addition to Tuesday (Kana Ichinose) from the Japanese series Carole & Tuesday (2019) and Thursday (Kay Lenz) from the American flick The Great Scout & Cathouse Thursday (1976), Lisa Loring and Jenna Ortega brought Wednesday Addams to the small screen via The Addams Family (1964-1966) and Wednesday (2022), respectively. Of course, all of these babes build up to the most built babe of all — Friday Foster (1975). As the titular character, stacked stunner Pam Grier portrays a former model turned magazine photographer. Based on the syndicated comic strip of the same name, the action kicks in when Friday captures the murder of millionaire Blake Tarr (Thalmus Rasulala) on camera. While twists and turns abound, some gripping scenes will have you gripping yourself. This is especially true when Pam flashes her natural mams while taking a shower at the 30-minute mark. “Rub a dub dub!” Or, should we say “Ring a ding ding” since she yells to Yarbro (Carl Weathers) to pick up the phone. Later, Pam’s naked rack steals the scene again when she and her man are in the bed, bath and beyond! Thanks to writer/director/producer Arthur Marks, this blaxploitation classic includes Eartha Kitt, Jim Backus, Scatman Crothers, Ted Lange, and the fab flesh on Rosalind Miles. Just 20 minutes into the movie, the busty beauty bares her left breast while getting dressed in the changing room. Needless to say, Friday Foster is the perfect start to a wicked weekend!
