Suddenly, Last Summer (1959)

Elizabeth Taylor stars as a distressed debutante who’s institutionalized against her will in Suddenly, Last Summer (1959). Catherine (Elizabeth Taylor) has a mental breakdown after her cousin Sebastian is murdered in front of her while they were vacationing together. Sebastian’s mother Violet (Katharine Hepburn) insists that Catherine has gone completely insane and wants her lobotomized as soon as possible. But Dr. Cukrowicz (Montgomery Clift), who was assigned to the case, believes Catherine was locked up to hide a horrible secret, one that Violet is determined to keep buried forever. Although famous for her sexpot status, Elizabeth Taylor was never really able to show skin on screen thanks to the repressive social climate of the '50s. However, Suddenly Last Summer has a scene with La Liz in a tight white bathing suit that gives us a rare glimpse at some Cleopatra crotch cleavage. Suddenly, a Boner!
