Starship Troopers (1997)

Dutch-born director Paul Verhoeven has assembled a long and varied oeuvre of Hollywood hits (everything from blatantly beavercentric Basic Instinct [1992] to the subtle sexual saturation of Showgirls [1995]). An always adept and flashy commander of story and camera, Verhoeven’s Starship Troopers (1997) transcends parody simply because it goes beyond the kitschy space-invader genre that it pays homage to. The excitement of battle rarely wanes in Troopers, and when there is a lapse in the spectacular and gross special effects, the pause only serves to increase the impact of the next grand mal attack. Starship Troopers is a seizure ready to strike. Outside of the brilliant filmmaking, Starship Troopers is also a great flick to pump one out to, due to the seemingly endless shots of hot ladies throughout its runtime. At the 30-minute mark, there's a famous coed shower scene that features boobs from Dina and Brooke, along with boobs and buns from Tami-Adrian, and Blake. About an hour later, Dina Meyer strikes again, this time with her hot mammaries as she prepares to take a ride on the Van Dien machine. Lucky dude if you ask us! Flesh fiends at home can enjoy the endlessly entertaining violence and social commentary even if Verhoeven hadn't included all the nudity. Luckily for viewers, this is one director that knows how to entertain the masses and keep them "coming" back for more! There are few science fiction films with the impact that this one has had over the years, and it's well worth checking out for the ass and tits alone!
