Space Truckers (1996)

Only wacko director Stuart Gordon of genre classics such as From Beyond, Dolls, Re-Animator and Castle Freak would attempt such a campy sci-fi adventure comedy and then go ahead and cast Dennis Hopper and GEORGE WENDT! Smokey and the Bandit meets Lost in Space. Convoy meets Battle Beyond the Stars. Honky Tonk Freeway meets Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone in 3-D! Yeah, so there's these giant truck-like spaceships, so of course we have to have space truckers. What a clever title this movie has. So after two bong hits, you realize Dennis Hopper is transporting square pigs (!) across the galaxy. You're not dreaming. Then George Wendt shows up, only he's supposed to be a VILLAIN. By now you should be hungry, so grab the Peanut M&M's. Debi Mazar is about to strip down to a tinsel bikini and do the interstellar hoo-haa with a robot guy who has to jump-start his wee-wee. Debi Mazar spends much of the film clad in a ‘space underwear’ (a.k.a. a green bikini) and is rather sexy.
