Shoshana (2023)

Based on the true story of Shoshana Borochov, a Ukrainian who came to Tel Aviv with her family in the 1920s, the year is now 1938 and the British are occupying the territory and trying to maintain peace between the Palestinian and Jewish populations. Shoshana (Irina Starshenbaum), daughter of the Zionist Labour co-founder and member of the Haganah territorial army, ends up falling for Thomas Wilkin (Douglas Booth), a seemingly good-natured British police officer. It’s a relationship that will grow increasingly difficult as violence starts to spread throughout the state.
