The original Patrick (1978) was an international hit out of Australia, but it was left to the Italians to make a proper sequel with Patrick Still Lives (1980). Patrick’s still in a coma and using his psychic powers for evil. The only real difference is that he’s now played by Gianni Dei instead of Aussie Robert Thompson. Anyway, Patrick’s lured a bunch of sickos to the “wellness center” where his body’s kept, and he’s looking to commit some serious carnage at their expense. And since this is an Italian horror film, the gore count is now as excessive as the nudity.
