During her long and varied career, perky Mary Kay Place has made her mark as a creator and performer in some of the most groundbreaking entertainments of her time. After an uncredited minor part in Barbra Streisand's What's Up, Doc? (1972), Mary Kay garnered accolades as a writer for The Mary Tyler Moore Show, one of the best-crafted series ever to be on TV. M.K. took her place in front of the cameras portraying a recurring character on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. From Fernwood, she hitched a ride to high Hollywood, showing a tiny nipple spill in The Big Chill (1983). Place's resumé is capped with a pair of pressed boobies in a tight-squeezing shower shared with Martin Short in Captain Ron (1992). Derriere beware: The ass shot is a butt double. Too bad we have no Place posterior for posterity.
