Killer Heat (2024)

Based on the Norwegian writer Jo Nesbø’s short story "The Jealousy Man," this neo-noir stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the aforementioned man, a former NYC cop-turned-private-investigator now living in Athens, Greece named Nick Bali. He’s hired by Penelope (Shailene Woodley), a recent widow whose husband Leo Vardakis (Richard Madden) died while free solo scaling a cliff for fun and she suspects foul play. Nick starts his investigation with the family, including Leo’s twin brother Elias (also played by Madden), the new CEO of their late father’s shipping company, and the twins’ strong but silent mother Audrey (Clare Holman). The stunning Shailene turns up the heat about thirty-six minutes in when she and Richard bang in bed and her bare boobs make a brief appearance. If you didn’t think we would slap some Skin-Vision on them so folks could get a better look, rest assured we definitely Woodley - and did!
