When your first exposure to the world of entertainment is a role as "Cellmate" in the skin classic Chained Heat (1983), then no holes are barred for onscreen nudity. Oddly, Kate Vernon didn't take off her clothes in her debut, but it wasn't long before the mimi-mammed blonde was shaking her moneymaker in a sordid selection of sinema's breast. This cutie almost became an architect after high school but decided she'd prefer erecting something a little bit more human, like those skyscrapers in men's pants, and so she went off to Hollywood and built a career. By Roadhouse 66 (1984) and Alphabet City (1984), Kate was already flashing her light fantastics onscreen. Then it was off to the boob tube, dressed in sexy attire, to make the nighttime soap Falcon Crest something to crow about. She went from the sweet "Lorraine Prescott" on that show to the bitchy "Benny" on the series Pretty in Pink. Back on the big screen Kate was breaking the color barrier in Spike Lee's Malcolm X (1992), locking juicy lips with Denzel Washington. But she broke the skin barrier in such titles as Soft Deceit (1994), Dangerous Touch (1994), and Bloodknot (1995), which was her last but most lustful nudity. There's a town in New York called Mount Vernon--Mr. Skin hopes Kate's there because I'm flying in for a quickie.
