Ghost Story (1981)

Based on Peter Straub’s bestseller, the horror flick Ghost Story (1981) features an all-star cast including a non-dancing Fred Astaire, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., and John Houseman, to name a few. The story centers on a group of elderly men who committed a terrible act together, some years ago. Now, once a year the New Englanders who call themselves "The Chowder Society" get together, sit around and drink brandy while telling ghost stories. When a ghost appears during one of these meetings and starts killing people, it becomes clear that their past may have finally caught up to them. Meanwhile, Edward's (Douglas Fairbanks Jr.) son David (Craig Wasson) dies falling out of a window when confronted by a ghost, which leads his twin brother Don (also Craig Wasson) to question his dad about it, only for Edward to fall off a bridge after the ghost lady scares him, too. Throw in John (Melvyn Douglas) dying of a heart attack after she comes to him in a nightmare, and things begin to get quite tense. Now, Don needs the old Chowderheads to tell him the truth about what really happened, so he can figure out how to stop this murderous specter from slaughtering him and the rest of the storytelling geezers. Alice Krige plays the vengeful ghost, who it looks like is looking for some action in bed, in addition to some revenge, because she starts up a relationship with one of them men’s younger sons. We get see Ms. Krige’s killer cans on several occasions, including once while she is in the tub and another scene where she is walking across a room after checking out the beachfront view. That'll make you spew! We also get a few great looks at her amazing, round booty and a quick look at her bush as she has some wild sex on a dark and stormy night. Alice gives a skintastic performance that will have you scared stiff! You'll bust to that ghost in Ghost Story!
