When it’s got an exclamation point, chances are you’re in for a wild ride. That’s just what filmmaker Pierce Berolzheimer wants you to think with his very first feature length horror that that Dylan Riley Snyder and Allie Jennings as Phillip and Maddy, two young besties living in a seaside town that’s about to host a big dance. It’s an even bigger night for the paralyzed Phillip, who has invented special braces so he can walk and is trying them out in public for the first time. But it looks like nothing is going to go as planned once his brother Hunter (Bryce Durfee), a police officer, discovers the area is under attack by a bunch of mutant horsehoe crabs, and now the brothers, Maddy, Maddy’s science teacher mom (Jessica Morris), and an exchange student named Radu (Chase Padgett) are going to have to band together to fight the deadly creatures off. The film has a boner fide attention grabber at the very start - a sex scene in the sand with a topless Katrina Moran. Who wouldn’t want to bat around those beach balls?
