Body Double (1984)

Director Brian De Palma gets his Hitchcock on with the erotic thriller Body Double (1984) — not to be confused with Body Double: Volumes 1 and 2 (1997). The R rated flick follows Jake Scully (Craig Wasson), a struggling actor who keeps losing jobs, girlfriends, and several nights of sleep due to his claustrophobia. With no place to crash, his friend offers him an apartment with a huge picture window and a telescope. Fans of Rear Window (1954) will know it won’t be long before Scully is spying on his beautiful neighbor. As such, we get to revel in shots of Gloria Revelle (Deborah Shelton) as she reveals her bra-clad breasts while undressing. Alas, Jake also watches her get killed. Then, like Vertigo (1958), the dude meets a Gloria look-alike (Melanie Griffith). And luckily for us, she works as a porn star! In other words, Ms. Griffith repeatedly flashes her ravishing rack and be-thonged ass! Not to be outdone, the film includes topless views of real-life adult actress Linda Shaw. If that’s not hot enough, hot blonde Carol Scully (Barbara Crampton) shows off her bouncing breasts and a bit of bush while mounting her man in bed. More nude boobs can be seen on screen thanks to the titillating appearances by Ty Randolph and Brinke Stevens. The latter lady’s performance even includes some sexy Sapphic action! All of this happens as the hero tries to investi-bate a murder. Amid the twists and turns, this curvaceous cast will keep audience members totally erect!
