Aquarius (2016)

The critically acclaimed Brazilian drama Aquarius (2016) explores the lengths one woman will go to make sure things stay the same, and the lengths people with financial interests in things changing, will go to make sure she gets out of their way. Clara (Sonia Braga) has lived in her same apartment in Recife's Aquarius Complex for many decades, but developers looking to cash in on its oceanfront location are trying to stronghold her into leaving. The company is Bonfim, and they're led by Geraldo (Fernando Teixeira) and his extremely ambitious young grandson Diego (Humberto Carrao), who is in charge of designing the new complex. Seeing this as his big break, Diego resorts to all sorts of dirty moves to try and force Clara out, including hosting constant loud parties in the apartment above Clara's, stinking the place up by setting trash on fire in the parking lot, and most deviously, installing termite nests around the building to get it declared a hazard that needs to be knocked down. But even though her kids want her to just sell the place and move somewhere else, Clara isn't leaving. This stubborn granny is going to do whatever it takes to make sure she can stay in that apartment, and there's nothing Diego can do to stop her! This battle of wills flick caused all sorts of controversy in Brazil thanks to the filmmakers being very upfront about their politics, with some conspiracy theorists claiming its 18+ rating wasn't because of the explicit sex scene but because the government wanted to punish them for speaking out against them. Take a look and decide for yourself whether the moment when the stunning Bárbara Colen shows boobs and bush while having wild and apparently unsimulated sex with a dude was too hot for minors, or the rating was retribution. Considering we even see him eat her out, it seems warranted to us. Beyond Miss Colen's coitus, Sonia Braga bares her one boob having post-mastectomy rack, while the lovely Julia Bernat gives us a peek of her peaks while spooning with a dude. If this is the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius, it's giving Mr. Skin serious morning wood!
