Routines (2020)

Michael Bugard plays Bruce Mann, a washed up stand-up comedian who goes thru the same dated, unfunny material at a local bar and lives with his parents. One day he meets punk singer Darling Wednesday (Anna Nicole Brown) when she performs at the same bar, and the two hit it off. So much so they get married, and just when Bruce thinks his life may have actually turned around, Darling Wednesday is murdered during a botched robbery at a video store. He tries to move on, finds another woman, attempts to use his brief glimmer of happiness as fodder for his act, but nothing works. Not even watching a completely nude Lainna White finger herself on the edge of a bathtub. Nothing compares to the magical moment Anita emerged naked from the bathroom with a dead mouse before she rides him for the first time and then goes down on him. How could it? We’ll give it this, it’s a low budget black comedy that’s anything but routine!
