Airplane II: The Sequel (1982)

Although the creative team behind the original didn't return, most of the main cast is back for Airplane II: The Sequel (1982)! Though we bid a fond farewell to Leslie Nielsen, Robert Stack, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, in their place we get William Shatner, Chuck Conners, and Sonny Bono. We'll leave that to you to decide whether that's an upgrade or a downgrade! Set some years after the first film, space travel by airplane is now a thing and when Ted Striker (Robert Hays) and Elaine (Julie Hagerty) once more find themselves on a doomed flight, and if it weren't bad enough that the machinery on this high tech plane seems to be failing, they've also got to contend with madman Joe Seluchi (Sonny Bono), who has smuggled a bomb on board! Like the first flick, the nudity is fleeting, but any PG movie with nudity is worth writing home about! Not only does sensationally stacked B-movie bombshell Monique Gabrielle show off her breasts on a monitor while going through security, so does the equally busty Deirdre L. Cowden! Throw in some bonus boobage from Crystal Smith as a woman posing topless for Striker in the hospital and we think you're bound to achieve lift-off!
