Your Monster (2024)

Once upon a time, Laura (Melissa Barrera) was dating Jacob (Edmund Donovan), who was writing a musical called House of Good Women in which Laura was supposed to take the starring role. But then Laura gets diagnosed with cancer, and as statistics have proven, that’s usually when male partners get scared and selfish and dump their women, which Jacob inevitably does by abandoning Laura at the hospital in her hour of need. Laura eventually recovers and moves into her mother’s old place, where she finds Monster (Tommy Dewey), the beastly being living in her childhood closet. The new roommates are at odds at first, but then learn to co-exist, even rub off on each other while their chemistry develops. Monster helps Laura find strength as she takes on the role of understudy to the beautiful Jackie (Meghann Fahy), who a smitten Jacob has given the part in House of Good Women that was meant for Laura, while in true Beauty and the Beast fashion Laura brings out a softer side in Monster. There are a couple of skin-stances of Melissa in her bra to awaken the monster in your pants, but no real nudity to be had.
