Vampyros Lesbos (1970)

When people think of ’70s sexploitation, they’re thinking of Jesus Franco’s Vampyros lesbos (1970). After all, this is the classic that set the tone for the decadent decade of depravity that followed. The story fulfills its title and so much more, with tons of scenes of Sapphic sucking. Linda Westinghouse (Ewa Strömberg) keeps having these intense dreams about sexual encounters with Countess Nadine Carody (Soledad Miranda). Who doesn't? Eventually she's lured to the Countess' mysterious island, where it ends up they're staying at the former home of one Count Dracula. Try as she might, Linda can't resist the sexual advances of this creature of the night, and soon enough she realizes she'll have to slay the vamp or live forever as one of her sexual playthings. Sign us up for that! If you’ve always loved the gothic terror of the original Dracula story but wondered how it would play if the Count were a Countess, well, your wish is Franco’s command. And he commands a carnal camera that leaves no beaver unspread. Heidrun Kussin's cans make a brief appearance, with her pink nips looking especially perky. But this one's all about the girl on girl between Soledad and Ewa, both of which show all three B's in a bunch of different scenes. The blonde Ewa will make you a spewa when you watch her step out of bed and go for a naked stroll, as well as when shen she wakes up naked on the floor well aware that the vampire's no pants dance has put her in a lesbian trance. But the best sex stuff comes from Soledad, who must favor type Oh Oh Oh blood, since she's always delivering orgasmic stuff. From showing titty and kitty while skinny dipping to inspiring some wildly weird sexual fantasies in people's dreams, Soledad could easily be the sole reason this one was such a big hit. No Buffy, but things sure get muff-y in Vampyros Lesbos!
