Lieb Vaterland magst ruhig sein (1976), or Dear Fatherland Be at Peace, is a West German film set in the period immediately after the erection of the Berlin Wall. Didn't think we could make the Cold War sound sexy, did you? The film involves the East Germans sending a spy West to gather info, but when he's abducted, the East disavows any knowledge of him. During a flashback, the spy remembers banging Margot Werner, who looks not unlike a young Helen Mirren, but who can't compete with Dame Helen in the chest department!
