Black Snake Moan (2006)

Skinophiles will be moaning while watching Black Snake Moan (2006). The R-rated flick follows Lazarus Redd (Samuel L. Jackson). He’s a bitter, brokenhearted Mississippi Bluesman who becomes hellbent on acting as a conduit for the Lord’s righteousness here on Earth. And then there’s Rae Doole (Christina Ricci). She’s a slutted-up, stripped-down wild child deposited — half-nude and unconscious — on the backwoods road outside Lazarus’s cabin. When the two meet, Mr. Redd tries to redeem Ms. Doole — by chaining her to his radiator until she’s fit to clean up her act. So goes the Southern Gothic grotesquerie of a skinstant cult classic. While Mr. Jackson jams on his guitar and preaches for the betterment of mankind, Ms. Ricci writhes and sweats and repeatedly slips out of her ragged, barely-there-to-begin-with wardrobe. In fact, she exposes her breasts while having sex with Ronnie Morgan (Justin Timberlake) just one minute into the movie! As the film continues, Christina proceeds to reveal her rack. If that’s not hot enough, the hottie dons tiny panties. In one scene, the bottomless and braless babe can be seen in a tank top and nothing else. When she moves, we are treated to peeks at her bare butt cheeks! No wonder, Ebert & Roeper gave the movie two thumbs up. Of course, Mr. Skin raises another part of his anatomy in appreciation. Needless to say, writer and director Craig Brewer created a deep-fried, flesh-friendly hoot(ers)-a-nanny of a pic. In other words, Black Snake Moan will make your snake long!
