Some of us are old enough to remember 1982 and let us old timers tell you, it was a banner year for the old box office popcorn flicks!  E.T. - The Extraterrestrial (1982), Tootsie (1982), AND An Officer and a Gentleman (1982) just printed money across the country... But in Staten Island in 1982, there was only one movie that everyone wearing Jordache Jeans and moussing up their hair had to see before all the rest, Rocky III (1982).  For the Dedea family and their youngest son, Anthony (Lucius Hoyos), the opening weekend for the sequel is going to be the biggest weekend of him and his family's life.  Anthony is pulling out all the stops to get close to his lifelong crush, Sophia Larocca (Madelyn Cline), despite her boyfriend being the biggest douche on the island and her dad, Frank (Bobby Cannavale) being the local gangster who hates his father (Frank Grillo).  His big brother, Christian (Jonah Hauer-King) is struggling with his sexual identity, while regularly wearing his mom's garters in his bedroom at night, and the family's banquet hall business is about to go under!  But this Italian-American family is just like Rocky, they can take a beating, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and then physically again, and get right back up and fight for the title and a little bit of glory!  It's not anyone else's night tonight, This is the Night that this family stands up for each other, themselves, gets the girl, and knocks out the bully, just like the Italian Stallion himself!  Lucky for us, the marvelous Madelyn Cline provides us with something to "pull" for right at the beginning, splashing around in the pool in her 80s one-piece and showing some cleavage! Yo, Madelyn!!!
