Aliens are among us and they've got us right where they want us in John Carpenter's sci-fi socio-political satire about a hypnotized humanity that's happily sold itself out, They Live (1988). WWE legend Roddy Piper stars as Nada, an aimless drifter who stumbles upon some sunglasses left behind when the cops raided a street preacher (Raymond St. Jacques) screeching about hidden messages coming from the TV. Nada's shocked to discover these glasses show him the eery truth about the world: it's been taken over by aliens disguised as successful human Yuppies, and these buttoned-down ETs have entranced the people through TVs, movies, billboards, and magazines full of subliminal messages designed to make humanity strictly obey the gods of money and commerce. After an epic street fight, since Roddy's buddy Frank (Keith David) refuses to put the glasses on, Frank learns the truth. Armed and dangerous, the deadly duo set out to free humankind from its unkind overlords, doing a lot of ass kicking in the process. But we have come here to see hot pieces of ass, and chew bubblegum. And we're all out of bubblegum. While Meg Foster is the main hottie getting Hot Rod all sorts of revved up, at the end of the movie our hero succeeds in destroying the radio tower the aliens use to disguise their true selves. That's tough luck for Cibby Danyla, the busty blonde who thought she was riding on top of a businessman, only to realize it's actually an alien. At least we get to see her humongous hooters revealed before the horrifying revelation. Breed! Reproduce! Check out that big hair and bigger rack in They Live!
