An impressively twisty, occasionally twisted step-up from run-of-the-mill erotic thrillers, Tick Tock blows the conventions of its genre to pieces by repeatedly revisiting different viewpoints of a single story—that of a young woman (Megan Ward of Melrose Place) married to an older man and the devious means in which Kristin Minter may or may not be blackmailing her with photos of an extramarital tryst—until a dark, shocking larger picture emerges.
