The Loved Ones (2009)

If you thought your high school experience was pure torture, be glad you're not the hapless protagonist of the Australian horror flick The Loved Ones (2009). High school dude Brent (Xavier Samuel) is pretty messed up about his dad dying in a car crash where he was behind the wheel. These days, all he does is cut himself with a razor blade, listen to heavy metal music, smoke copious amounts of reefer, and hang out with his girlfriend Holly (Victoria Thaine). Holly is the reason Brent turns down an invitation to the prom from the weird, reclusive Lola (Robin McLeavy), but Lola doesn't take the rejection lightly. Soon enough she's kidnapped him, is showing off all the other people she's tortured and lobotomized, and is even making her dance with him in one of the most messed up fake proms ever put on screen. And if you think she's not coming after Holly eventually, you don't understand how disturbed Lola is. A kind of fun thing from this one is that Australians don't have prom, so there was some confusion at home as to what dance they were attending, with DVD blurbs talking about "Prom" but Aussies knowing the dance as "The School Formal." Prom? Formal? Either way, we're happy to report that there's a few shots of the female form in this one, with Jessica McNamee stripping down to her bra and panties 24 minutes in as she rides a dude's dick in the backseat. But it's our main, Victoria Thaine who really puts the "Aussie" in "awesome" when she takes off her shirt and reveals her remarkable rack while having some front seat car sex. Dang, these land down under ladies sure love to do it in the car! That's one way to get over a fatal car crash. Beep, beep, we're going balls deep! With all that action, The Loved Ones will really spin your disco ball!
